4. There are at least 48 Old Testament prophecies concerning the coming of the Messiah. Jesus fulfilled every prophecy concerning him, proving beyond any doubt he was the Christ, the Messiah, the only Son of the Father, the Creator of heaven and earth and everything in it. The odds of anyone fulfilling all these prophecies and not being the Son of God is a staggering number, something like the number of atoms in the universe times five.

5. To make it perfectly clear to man that He is God, in Isaiah God prophesied he would free his people from 70 years of captivity and actually gave the name of the one to free them as Cyrus. Exactly 70 years after the Israelites were taken captive to Babylon as slaves King Cyrus of Persia captured that kingdom and freed the Israelites so they could return home to Israel just as God said he would.

6. All Scripture was written by men as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit. The writers did not always fully understand all that they wrote. The Bible contains verses with information the writers knew nothing about and discoveries that wouldn’t be made for thousands of years. For example, in Psalms there is reference to the earth being round, the ocean’s having currents, and the existence of mountains and fresh water volcanoes under the sea. All these things were unverified for many centuries after the words were written.

7. In Noah’s time the ark was the largest vessel ever built. It took Noah 120 years to complete the ark to the dimensions specified by God. Ocean vessels must meet specific engineering guidelines in order to be seaworthy which the ark certainly was. It was thousands of years later before engineers verified God’s ark dimensions were correct.

The first great sign from God is creation and I’ve previously listed the written proofs I have. I want to discuss the second great sign from God which is His Word, our Holy Bible. I’m on my third reading of the Bible. God’s Word is supernatural and you cannot read its wisdom or speak it without invoking the Holy Spirit. It’s virtually impossible for anyone to read the Bible through with an open mind without realizing they’re holding a revelation from God in their hands.  When you know the Bible you will see who God is and accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.  The evidence is overwhelming.

1. The Holy Bible contains 66 books by 40 different writers written over a period of 1500 years. Writers included kings, prophets, learned men, uneducated farmers and illiterate fishermen. The books of the Bible all fit together like a glove and without any errors or inconsistencies.  The same consistent message of the Bible is God’s love for man and salvation through faith in His Son, Jesus Christ.

2. For centuries men have sought to discredit the Bible by finding something false in it but they have all failed. They said there was no such person as Jesus. Jewish and Roman historical records prove otherwise. They said the walls of Jericho never fell all at once. Recent archaeological discoveries prove the walls of Jericho fell all at once and outward which removes the argument that it was caused by an earthquake. Critics said there was no such person as King David but in 1933 a stone was discovered confirming the house of David.  Detractors said the Bible had to be false because there was no such country as Israel. On May 14, 1948, the country of Israel was reborn in a day, as God’s Word said it would be. The Bible said at the Second Advent all the peoples of the earth would see Jesus set foot on the Mount of Olives. Everyone said that was not possible but now we have cable TV that broadcasts worldwide and it is possible.

3. The Bible is 28% prophecy and over 500 of the 1000 plus prophecies contained in the Bible have come true and have been documented as fact. Prophecy fulfillment has been 100% accurate. Not one prophecy has failed to be fulfilled in its appointed time.  Not one single prophecy has come true with all the other false religions in the world.  Prophecy is merely history written in advance.  Only Jehovah, the Ancient of Days,  knows the end from the beginning because He is the author of history.

2. Science has proven man only uses 10% of his brain. The basic premise of evolution is an organism will evolve to the level it needs for survival and no more. An organism will not waste energy to build excess capacity for later use. How then can we explain man’s 90% brain capacity that is unused? Evolution cannot explain this but the Bible can. God made man with more mental capabilities than we have now and Adam and Eve used those mental capabilities. When Adam and Eve sinned against God they were expelled from the Garden of Eden into a fallen world where man’s mental abilities have been curtailed. All creation has been stunted due to man’s sin. Man will regain his full brain capacity at the Second Coming when Christ returns to the earth. Did you know the human brain processes 10 to the 24th power bits of information it receives every day, which is a million times more than the total human knowledge contained in all the world’s libraries (10 to the 18th power)? This supercomputer of a brain we have is far more than we need for basic survival so it doesn’t fit the evolution parameters even at 10% capacity. Can you imagine what we’ll be able to do when our brains are back at 100%?

The evolution of life is not logical yet here we are. The only logical explanation is we were made by a loving God just as the Bible says. The obvious question then becomes “why”? God tells us in His Word we were made for His pleasure and for fellowship with Him in heaven forever as His children. The Holy Bible contains all the wisdom we’ll ever need. It’s our way to find God and reach heaven. It’s up to each of us as individuals to seek out the living God and accept His gift of eternal life. We’re all born on a conveyor belt leading straight to hell. To do nothing is to wind up in the pit for eternity where we’ll be in constant torment. It’s up to us to grab hold of God’s extended hand and let Him pull us off of that conveyor belt before it’s too late. When God gives us eternal life we become ambassadors for Christ and are commanded to be His witness to unbelievers and do good works. Daily Bible reading and prayer will allow the Holy Spirit to strengthen us and empower us to do the work God has planned for us to do. Following the commands of God will bring us honor and glory in heaven.

If you were walking in the forest and stumbled upon a brand new Lexus would you think it simply evolved into a luxury car on its own just because it was there? Were the elements of the earth smart enough on their own to turn into tires because they knew they would be needed for the car to move? Did the elements of the motor refine themselves into steel and aluminum because they understood they must come together as a means of propelling the car? Did the elements of gasoline know they had to distill themselves from crude oil into fuel to operate the car’s motor? Sounds silly doesn’t it? I would feel silly in the same way if I said I believed in evolution.

No intelligent person could be expected to believe a new Lexus with thousands of parts simply evolved from the earth on its own. It’s self-evident the luxury car was made by someone. Yet we are expected to believe that a complex human being made up of 30 trillion specialized cells simply evolved from the primordial mud as one-celled organisms evolving into a human being on their own. A human being is a million times more complex than a car therefore it’s also self-evident we were made by someone. That someone is Almighty God, Creator of the universe.

Come now, and let us reason together says the Lord, though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall be as wool.

Pinch yourself, you’re real and you’re actually here so what now? God placed you here and in the above Scripture God is inviting you to put your thinking cap on and connect the dots as to why you’re here. God primarily speaks to us through His Word, the Holy Bible, so if you are to reason together with God you must study your Bible. Not just read it now and then but every day and all the way through with prayer and meditation, Nothing is more important than reading your owner’s manual because God reveals Himself to us in His Word. You are here to seek God and find salvation through faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. The main reason God leaves us here after becoming children of God is so we can witness for Christ by spreading the gospel. God does not want anybody to spend eternity in hell.

1. Human beings are composed of an average of 30 trillion cells arranged into numerous tissues, organs, and enclosed body systems, all with a critical role to play in our existence and survival. It is true the basic chemicals in our body, the raw materials, can be found in the “dust of the ground” just like it says in Genesis. However, these chemicals cannot, on their own, arrange themselves into cell tissue, organs, and body systems in order to become a living being. That can only happen with input from an intelligent designer, which is God.

Think about this logically. Evolution is presented as linear, moving continuously from the simple to the more complex. The human body is made up of hundreds of critical body systems that are contained, circular, and cyclical. That’s why they are called systems. Systems have to function as a whole, a unit, in order to accomplish their purpose. How could we survive millions of years waiting for our critical body systems to evolve to the point where they could function properly? It’s an absurd question. We can’t and we didn’t.

Humanists control our education system and have crammed evolution down our throats all our lives to the point where most people believe the great lie. If you repeat something long enough the mind accepts it as fact. We’ve all been brainwashed on an evolution theory that has no basis in fact. There is no evidence of any species having evolved even one iota in human recorded history. Not one.

Once you question all you see around you and use your intelligence and reasoning skills God’s design is evident everywhere you look. Its been there all the time but Satan has blinded us to its existence. I see God’s handiwork in the heavens and on the earth. I see God in the life of Jesus. I see God in the Holy Bible through its completeness, fulfilled prophecy and its ability to change lives. Most of all, I see God through me, a man, God’s masterpiece of creation.

Genesis 2:7
The Lord God formed the man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being.

Ephesians 2:10
For we are God’s masterpiece, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.

John 1:3
All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made.

Ephesians 3:9
God who created all things through Jesus Christ.

Psalm 139:13-14
For you formed my inward parts; you covered me in my mother’s womb. I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made.

15. Earth’s gravitational field exactly balances the centrifugal force of earth’s rotation in order to keep it in orbit around the sun.

16. The level of earth’s volcanic activity is perfectly balanced to recycle earth’s resources ; more or less volcanic activity would prevent life on earth.

17. The planet Jupiter is 300 times bigger than earth for a reason. Jupiter’s strong gravitational pull prevents space debris from striking the earth.

18. The speed of light is 186,000 miles per second; if it were any faster or slower no life could exist on earth.

19. Our solar system is located perfectly within our Milky Way galaxy to sustain life. We are two thirds of the way from the center to the edge of the galaxy. If we were situated anywhere else within the galaxy stars would affect earth’s orbit and thus prevent life.

20. The universe is expanding at the precise speed to allow life on earth; any slower and gravity would cause the universe to collapse on itself; any faster and heavenly bodies could not form.

21. The atomic structure of all things is very precise and perfectly balanced to support life. If protons were any larger or smaller molecules could not form the basic building blocks of life.

23. The earth’s size is perfect for life to exist. If the earth was 10% larger it would elevate the surface temperature too much. If the earth was 10% smaller it would result in a snow and ice wasteland.

3. Our sun is the right color spectrum to support the photosynthesis needed for plant life.

4. Earth’s atmosphere supports life (21% oxygen and 79% nitrogen).

5. Earth’s atmosphere absorbs just the right amount of light (heat) to keep the earth from freezing during the night cycle.

6. The atmosphere disperses just enough CO2 to prevent a buildup which would otherwise create a greenhouse effect.

7. The atmosphere helps shield the earth from cosmic radiation.

8. The ozone layer in the upper atmosphere blocks harmful ultraviolet radiation from the sun from reaching the earth’s surface.

9. The earth’s molten metal core heats the earth from within to keep the earth from freezing.

10. The earth’s core rotates to create a magnetic field around the earth that deflects incoming cosmic radiation.

11. The magnetic field around the earth is perfect; if it were any weaker it wouldn’t deflect cosmic radiation; if it were any stronger it would create deadly magnetic storms on the earth’s surface.

12. The earth’s 24 hour rotation is perfect to support life; a slower rotation would cause extreme winds and a faster rotation would cause extreme temperature fluctuations.

13. The 23% tilt of the earth on its axis is perfect for maintaining the surface temperature of the earth needed to sustain all life.

14. The earth’s crust is just the right thickness; any thinner and volcanic activity would increase to levels that would prevent life; any thicker and the buildup of oxygen would also prevent life.

God has given us three sure signs to let us that He exists:

1.  God has given us creation.  The heavens and the earth are the handiwork of Almighty God.  The intricate laws and workings of the universe bear the mark of an intelligent designer which can only be God.

2.  God gave us His Word, the Holy Bible, as a written revelation of Himself so that we might know Him and worship Him .

3.  God sent His Son Jesus Christ into the world to die on the cross for our sins.  Jesus was God in the flesh.

In this blog we’ll focus only on the cosmos:

Romans 1:20 – For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so they are without excuse.

Psalm 19:1 – The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament shows his handiwork.

Even skeptics agree there is a magnificent order to our universe. It is impossible for order to be created out of chaos and disorder on its own. If you have an effect such as order in the universe there must be a cause. If you take a rational objective look at how our universe works there is no other possible explanation other than the Super Designer of the universe is God.  No person who has ever looked up into the night sky can say they didn’t know God existed. God made man with eternity in his heart so he would seek out his Creator. The problem is most lose their way and chase after false gods. God’s glory is before all men and on the last day none can stand before God and say they didn’t know about the existence of God.
