In my Wilmington’s Guide to the Bible there are 21 listed attributes of the Lord. I know God is inside of me and my constant companion and friend. It’s important we don’t get too complacent about that. The Bible tells us in numerous places to fear the Lord. By fear the Bible means to look upon God with awe and reverence. With that in mind, it’s a good thing to think about who God is on occasion. It’s up to us to keep that fear of God alive in us. I’ve put God’s attributes on an index card so I can reflect on God on a regular basis and try to understand the majesty and magnitude of God.
