New Beginnings (#7 and last)

Believers who have saved at least one other person to heaven through their witness for Christ are considered to be, “Warriors for Christ.” That’s the moniker I give myself because in my twenty years of service to the Lord, I’ve saved over one hundred nonbelievers to heaven. I know that God will reward me on the last day for my “good works.” 90% of the saints in heaven are there through faith in Jesus Christ alone, never having saved even one other person to heaven by their witness for Christ. There are only a few “Warriors for Christ” on earth; maybe only a total of 30,000 evangelical Christians who wake up every day and ask themselves this question, “How can I work in God’s harvest field today and help save someone to heaven through my witness for Christ?” You may be wondering how I came up with 30,000 Warriors for Christ. My calculations are as follows:

There are 2.5 billion people on Earth who profess to be Christians (out of a total of eight billion people). 1.5 billion people claim to be Catholics, and Catholics don’t witness. There are one billion Protestants but evangelical Christians who stress “witnessing” as a tenet of their denomination number only 300,000. Only one in ten evangelicals have read their Bible enough to effectively share the gospel message of Christ, which means roughly 30,000 evangelical Christians are what I call, “Warriors for Christ.” I’m being very generous when I say this. Roughly 160,000 nonbelievers die every day and go straight to hell for the lack of a witness for Christ. 16,000 Christians die every day and go directly to heaven. That’s a ten-to-one ratio so Christians have a lot of work to do on Christ’s behalf; a lot of witnessing to save lost souls. God is counting on us to fulfill his salvation plan for man through the “good work” he has given us to do. It’s the only way we can please God.

Of the 10% of saints in heaven who have saved someone, the vast majority will have saved only one other person. If you save one hundred people you’ll be in the top 5% of the saints in heaven. Only one percent of the saints in heaven will have saved one thousand lost souls to heaven. That is my personal goal. Everyone needs to set their own goals and strive to reach them. The first thing you should do is save yourself to heaven because your life will be wonderful. If that’s all you do you’ll be a worker bee in heaven forever but that’s okay. If you save one other person to heaven you’ll receive honor, glory, and riches from God, which is better. If every creature made by God is priceless in his eyes how could God not reward you for saving one other person to heaven?

If you save one hundred people to heaven you’ll be in select company in heaven and pleasing in the eyes of God. The mind of man can’t fathom the wonders God has in store for those who please him. I can’t wait to be there! For the top one percent of saints who save at least 1,000 lost souls to heaven, God has promised that they will shine in heaven like the stars in the firmament just like it says in Daniel 12:3. I don’t know what that means exactly but I know it’s going to be good. A good tree can only produce good fruit and that spiritual truth of heaven applies to both God and man. God grants every believer a “new beginning.” As a Warrior for Christ, my job is to help nonbelievers find a “new beginning.” I pray Bible affirmations every morning to honor and glorify God as I seek his help to save nonbelievers to heaven through the gospel seed I cast before the throne of grace.

Bible affirmations have been around for centuries and many well-known theologians have used them. I discovered Bible affirmations when I read a book titled, “The Tongue” by the late pastor and author Charles Capps. Bible affirmations are prayers of rejoicing. My daily Bible affirmations consist of 36 of my favorite verses, followed by my pledge of obedience to God. It’s how I praise God with my lips and offer up honor and glory to my creator, for he is worthy of worship. Every person is different but for me, Bible affirmations are perfect because they keep my “eyes on Jesus” as I focus on witnessing for Christ. Bible affirmations keep my love of God stoked to a white-hot pitch. Use whatever works for you. I’m all about doing the Lord’s work 24/7 so that I can save “one more for Jesus” every day.

God tells us in his word to “redeem” our time and what God means by that is we must continually witness for Christ to save nonbelievers to heaven so that we can receive honor, glory, and riches from God on the last day. I don’t care how rich, powerful, and famous you are because, in the end, we all die. Death is the great equalizer. King Solomon was probably the richest and wisest man who ever lived and at the end of his long life, he concluded that life was meaningless apart from a right relationship with God (in the Book of Ecclesiastes). A right relationship with God is witnessing for Christ without ceasing, to save nonbelievers to heaven. Bible affirmations are prayers that keep our eyes on Jesus so we can fulfill the Great Commission that Jesus gave us. My advice is do not go before Jesus empty-handed. Go save someone to heaven!

DAY SEVEN BIBLE VERSES:

Galatians 4:4-5 – But when the fullness of time had come, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the law, to redeem those who were under the law, that we might receive the adoption as sons.

Hebrews 10:36 – For you have need of endurance, so that after you have done the will of God, you may receive the promise.

2 Thessalonians 2:14 – To which He called you by our gospel, for the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.

MY AFFIRMATION:

Long ago someone helped save me by witnessing for Christ to me. I accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior and became a son of the Most High God. I owe it to my God and all nonbelievers out there in the world to share the gospel message with them so that some might receive salvation through faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior the way I did. Lord, help me run my race before God with endurance, saving many lost souls to heaven by my testimony. Lord, grant me the promised honor, glory, and riches in heaven on the last day for my obedience. Let God be magnified forever!

BIBLE VERSES:

Hebrews 4:12 – For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

Ephesians 4:10-12 – He who descended is also the One who ascended far above the heavens, that He might fill all things. And He Himself gave some to be Apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ.

Revelation 19:16 – And He has on His robe and on His thigh a name written: King of kings and Lord of lords.

MY AFFIRMATION:

Thank you Lord for descending from heaven in the incarnation of Jesus Christ to die on the cross for the forgiveness of my sins. Thank you Jesus for rising from the dead on the third day and ascending back to heaven. Your resurrection indicates that all disciples of Christ will be resurrected in like manner when we die. Thank you Jesus for eternal life in heaven. Jesus Christ will be coming soon to rapture his saints in the air where he’ll give them their glorified bodies before taking them home to heaven. I’ll be with them. Exactly seven years later Jesus Christ will be setting foot on the Mount of Olives at the Second Coming, to defeat Satan and judge the nations for their sins against God. All the saints in heaven will be coming with Jesus, along with all his angels. Jesus will then set up his millennial kingdom on the earth. I’ll be with Jesus forevermore!

BIBLE VERSES:

Proverbs 13:13 – He who despises the word will be destroyed, but he who fears the commandment will be rewarded.

Ephesians 1:17-18 – That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, the eyes of your understanding being enlightened, that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints.

Colossians 1:10-11 – That you may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God; strengthened with all might, according to His glorious power, for all patience and longsuffering with you.

MY AFFIRMATION:

I thirst for the word of God and I’ll be rewarded on the last day for my obedience. Lord, I will read my Bible daily and I will thank you daily for the knowledge, understanding, and wisdom it contains. I bless you Lord for opening the eyes of my understanding so I can see the truth of God; the salvation of your calling, and the honor, glory, and riches that you’ll give to me on the last day. Lord, I pray that you’ll strengthen me so that I may walk worthy of you all the days of my life. I pray you will help me save many lost souls for the kingdom of heaven.

BIBLE VERSES:

Philippians 4:13 – I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

Mark 11:24 – (Jesus) – Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask for when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.

MY AFFIRMATION:

I pray for God to strengthen me through his Christ and Holy Spirit who dwells in me so that I can bear much fruit by my witness for Christ. I will abide in God’s word and the Holy Spirit abides in me. I pray that together we will save many nonbelievers to heaven. I thank God for answering my prayers. I thank God for the honor of working alongside my King in his harvest field to help save many nonbelievers to heaven through my witness for Christ.

BIBLE VERSES:

1 Corinthians 15:58 – Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain.

Matthew 6:19-20 – (Jesus) – Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal; but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal.

MY AFFIRMATION:

I can do nothing on my own but I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. I will obey the commandments of God as I keep my eyes on Jesus, my Lord and Savior. My trust in God and my love of God will never end. I will seek to please God always by my good works. Lord, bless me as I sow the gospel seed of Christ bountifully on earth so that I’ll reap bountifully in heaven on the last day. My goal in life is to please the God who made me by my work on Christ’s behalf. When I stand before the bema judgment seat of Jesus Christ on the last day I long to hear him say, “Well done good and faithful servant.”

BIBLE VERSES:

Micah 6:8 – He has shown you, O man, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you but to do justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God?

Ecclesiastes 12:13 – Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God and keep His commandments, for this is man’s all.

MY AFFIRMATION:

I will emulate Jesus Christ in all my actions and my thoughts will always be on the magnitude and majesty of Almighty God. I will honor God through my obedience to the commandments of God. I will read my Bible daily and pray to my Lord continually to maintain my fear of God. I am in fellowship with God and I will witness for Christ all the days of my life to save nonbelievers to heaven. I rejoice in my salvation from God and the “good works” the Lord has given me to do.

New Beginnings (#6)

In our relationship with Jehovah, the one true God of creation, mankind has two “new beginnings” from the hand of God. The first “new beginning” from God was given to all men without their knowledge or consent; because God loves us dearly. We are made by God and God considers us to be his children. This blessed event, the first “new beginning”, occurred two thousand years ago with the birth of Jesus Christ in Bethlehem of Judea. God came off his throne in heaven and came to earth in the incarnation of Jesus Christ, the son of God. Jesus Christ died on the cross in our place, so our sins could be forgiven by a just and loving God. One of the spiritual truths of heaven is, “the wages of sin is death.” All men sin and we all deserve eternal death in hell. This means every adult person on earth is assured of going to hell for all eternity when they die if not for the intervention of Jesus to save us from our fate. Jesus died to defeat the works of Satan and to save us to eternal life in heaven. Never lose sight of what Jesus has done for all of us, and be thankful!

The second “new beginning” from God is voluntary and each person has to take ownership of it. Each person has to make the free will decision to serve God or Satan. To choose God a nonbeliever needs to acknowledge God and turn away from sin and toward Jesus Christ. Not making a choice is to choose Satan. A believer is gifted salvation unto eternal life in heaven through faith by acknowledging Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. The first “new beginning” from God has allowed us to be saved because Jesus paid our sin debt to God. In our second “new beginning” it’s entirely up to the nonbeliever to become a believer by accepting God’s grace. Salvation is a two-step process and God did the first step for us, but it’s up to us to complete the salvation process by choosing to serve God and not Satan. God makes salvation so easy even a child can do it.

Let me be very clear about something you need to know. Your eternal soul hangs in the balance. Anyone who doesn’t confess Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior before God the Father before they die has chosen to serve Satan by default, and they will reap the whirlwind. This is important information! Our Holy Bible is God’s word and for two thousand years critics have been trying to find fault with the Bible and they have all failed. The Bible is the inerrant word of God and after twenty years of study, I know this to be true. You have my testimony. When nonbelievers die demons will drag their souls down to the pit of hell similar to what you saw in the movie “Ghost.” So choose wisely. When I pray my Bible affirmations before God I’m thanking him for both of my “new beginnings.” It’s how I express my joy in the Lord. Bible affirmations are prayers of rejoicing before the Lord of heaven and earth, because God is worthy of worship. Come join me!

DAY SIX BIBLE VERSES:

Proverbs 23:12 – Apply your heart to instruction, and your ear to words of knowledge.

Proverbs 8:34 – Blessed is the man who listens to Me, watching at My gates, waiting at the posts of My doors.

Psalm 119:105 – Your word is a lamp to my feet, a light to my path.

MY AFFIRMATION:

I have an unquenchable thirst for God’s word, which was given to me by the Holy Spirit as part of my ministry. I blog because God wants me to give my testimony of him. I will listen attentively to what the Lord has to say so that I can obey his instructions. My heart yearns to please God. I want to know God and his salvation plan for my life. Daily I will seek out knowledge, understanding, and wisdom from God through the pages of my Bible. I will speak to God continually in prayer and ask him to reveal his truth to me. I am truly blessed by Almighty God because of my obedience to his commandments. Lord, your word shows me the way to heaven and what I must do to please you. With the help of God, I’ll save many lost souls to the kingdom of heaven through my witness for Christ.

BIBLE VERSES:

Colossians 2:9-10 – For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily; and you are complete in Him, who is the head of all principality and power.

Colossians 1:17 – And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist.

2 Corinthians 5:18 – Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation.

MY AFFIRMATION:

Jesus is the bodily representation of the triune Godhead. Jesus was, is, and forever will be Almighty God; awesome in power. Jesus made the universe, and he upholds all things with his mighty right hand. Jesus is God in the flesh and his death on the cross reconciled us to God the Father, for those who believe in his name. Believers who accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior are gifted eternal life in heaven. Believers are given the ministry of reconciliation, which is another way of saying we are commanded by God to witness for Christ to save nonbelievers to heaven. God will reward us for our obedience.

BIBLE VERSES:

1 Corinthians 6:19-20 – Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own? For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s.

Acts 1:8 – (Jesus) – But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.

MY AFFIRMATION:

Holy God, Lord of heaven and earth; at my conception, you gave me a part of your divine essence, my eternal spirit, so that I might fellowship with you forever in heaven. You knit me in my mother’s womb. Help me find my way back to the God who made me. I have accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior. As a result, your Holy Spirit indwells me. My body has become God’s temple. The blood shed by Jesus Christ on the cross at Calvary has made me a slave of Christ and my body is not my own. Lord, I give my body back to you as my reasonable service. I will glorify God by praying continually before the throne of grace. I’ll continually witness the gospel message of Jesus Christ to all nations and all people to save nonbelievers to heaven, in obedience to the commandments of God.

BIBLE VERSES:

Matthew 9:37-38 – (Jesus) – The harvest is truly plentiful, but the laborers are few. Therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.

MY AFFIRMATION:

I bless God for allowing me to participate in his salvation plan for man. I bless the Lord for helping me fulfill the salvation plan he has for my life. I will work beside the Lord in his harvest field, sharing the gospel of Christ to save one more for Jesus every day for as long as I live. I pray for more workers in God’s harvest field because the need is great and the workers are few. I will continually worship God with the praise of my lips and give my testimony because God is good and God is great and this my spirit knows very well.

BIBLE VERSES:

Daniel 12:3 – And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament, and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.

MY AFFIRMATION:

I will be wise before the Lord through obedience to the commandments of God. As a disciple of Christ, I will fulfill the Great Commission I received from Jesus Christ, which is to spread the gospel message, the good news of God’s saving grace. I will witness Christ to all nations and all people. I will continually give my testimony of Jesus Christ all my life to help save many lost souls to the kingdom of heaven.

New Beginnings (#5)

1 John 3:9 – Whoever has been born of God does not sin, for His seed remains in him; and he cannot sin, because he has been born of God.

Romans 4:8 – Blessed is the man to whom the Lord shall not impute sin.

1 John 5:18 – We know that whoever is born of God does not sin; but he who has been of God keeps himself, and the wicked one does not touch him.

There are two types of people in the world; those who are filled with sin and those who are not filled with sin. Those who die filled with sin go to hell and those who are not filled with sin go to heaven when they die. It’s as simple as that. Every human being begins their life the same way; filled with sin imputed from Adam’s fall from grace in the Garden of Eden; because we are all descendants of Adam, the first man. That means everyone’s body and eternal spirit from God are stained by sin from the moment we’re born. We’re all headed straight to hell when we exit the birth canal. There is an exemption for the unborn and for children below the age of decision, which is usually around the age of twelve. God doesn’t allow sin in Heaven so the only way to get there is to get rid of our sin. How do we accomplish that? How do we achieve a “new beginning” so that we are not filled with sin and we can go to heaven? The answer is simple. We must accept Jesus Christ, the Son of God, as our personal Lord and Savior. You will never get rid of the sin in your body and your spirit if you do nothing; or if you follow after fake religions and worship false gods. Jesus is the only way to heaven, period!

You see, Jesus Christ is God in the flesh and he came off his throne in heaven to die on the cross for the forgiveness of the sins of all men, past, present, and future. There is no such thing as a sin so big that God’s grace won’t cover it. If you reject Jesus’ sacrificial death to save you from hell it’s like slapping God in the face. Woe unto that person! When the nonbeliever puts their trust in Jesus, in that moment, they become believers saved unto eternal life in heaven, and God remembers their past sins no more. At the moment of salvation, God will take away our sin-filled spirit and replace it with another eternal spirit without sin. Scripture confirms that nothing is impossible with God. God made you so giving you a new spirit is a piece of cake. A good analogy is changing the oil in your car. If you are the car, you need an oil change because your oil (spirit) is dirty. God is the maker of the car and the only technician qualified to flush out the old oil and replace it with clean oil (a new spirit). At our salvation, God not only gives us a new spirit, but he also indwells us (the Holy Spirit) because our body has become a holy vessel without sin, fit for the master’s use and habitation.

In the verses shown above (1 John 3:9 and 1 John 5:18) when God says believers don’t sin he means that sins committed by a believer don’t impact him or stick to him because God has forgiven his sin. We’re like a turtle in his protective shell and sin cannot reach us because God’s grace is our shell. A believer is indwelt by the Holy Spirit who will not let sin enter either the body or the mind while he is present inside the body because God cannot abide sin. God repels sin like the opposite poles of a magnet. Since believers are indwelt by the Holy Spirit forever that means sin will not ensnare us ever again for all eternity. Fallen angels (demons) can enter the body of human beings, but none would dare to enter a believer, because God dwells there. Jesus paid for the forgiveness of our sins on the cross; which includes not only all past sins; but any sins we commit currently or in the future. It’s like having the ultimate pardon! Think of it as having an invisible force field around our body protecting us from sin. Believers still commit sins; it’s just that our sins don’t impact us internally after we’re saved to heaven because of God’s forgiveness and protection.

Any sins committed by believers after they are saved remain external. This doesn’t mean believers are free to sin without any consequence. The sins of believers won’t keep them out of heaven. However, believers will have to answer to God for their sinful actions done in the body after their salvation. On the last day, when believers stand before the bema judgment seat of Jesus Christ, our sins will result in penalties, and our good works will result in rewards. Think of sins as demerits on our heavenly ledger versus the merits we receive by our good works. The balance between our merits and our demerits will determine the level of honor, glory, and riches we receive from God (see 2 Cor. 5:10). Every night I pray for the Lord to forgive any sins I’ve committed that day, in the hope that I have no sins to answer for on the last day.

God makes it clear in both 1 John 3:9 and 1 John 5:18 that sin cannot keep a believer out of heaven. This is also confirmed in Ephesians 2:8-9, where God tells us salvation is by grace through faith, and not by works. Sins are by definition works. God cannot lie and God will not be mocked. God’s grace covers all sin. The sin of Adam was imputed, or entered into the account, of all men who came after Adam. In like manner, the righteousness of Jesus Christ (the new Adam) is imputed to all men who believe in his name. We see this confirmed in Romans 4:8, which says believers are blessed because God will not impute sin onto the believer. Otherwise, Jesus died in vain and God is mocked. Heaven forbid! That is why Jesus is our Lord and Savior.

The righteousness of Jesus Christ covers our sins like a blanket, so when God looks upon us he doesn’t see our sins. God sees the shed blood of his dear son, which allows us to enter heaven and remain in his presence for all eternity. Sin is a violation of God’s moral law. God decides what sin is and who it applies to. In His love, mercy, and grace, God has decided not to attribute sin to those who believe in Jesus because God has adopted us as sons and daughters of the Most High God through our faith and the shed blood of Christ. God offers all men a, “new beginning” through faith and we would be wise to accept God’s generous offer. My Bible affirmations are prayers of rejoicing to Almighty God for what he has done for me. It’s how I express my joy in the Lord every day. You would be wise if you did likewise. I love God and I know he loves me. All praise, honor, and glory to God!

DAY FIVE BIBLE VERSES:

Proverbs 1:7 – The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge; fools despise wisdom and instruction.

Proverbs 2:6 – For the Lord gives wisdom; from His mouth come knowledge and understanding.

Proverbs 23:23 – Buy the truth, and do not sell it, also wisdom and instruction and understanding.

MY AFFIRMATION:

I live in fear of the Lord my God. The Lord talks to me through the pages of my Bible and he gives me knowledge, understanding, and wisdom. God has given me his wisdom and his truth. It will not depart from before my eyes because it is health and healing to all my flesh. I will read my Bible every day and meditate on the magnitude and majesty of Almighty God. I will worship my God daily. I will always give the Lord the praise of my lips in prayer. I will continue to offer honor and glory to God in heaven because he is worthy of worship. God is good and God is great and this my spirit knows very well.

BIBLE VERSES:

James 4:2 – Yet you do not have because you do not ask. You ask and do not receive because you ask amiss.

James 5:16 – The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.

MY AFFIRMATION:

I pray that my witness for Christ will save many nonbelievers to the kingdom of heaven. I’m indwelt by the Holy Spirit of God and I ask my helper to take my prayers before the throne of grace and present them to God the Father in such a way that my prayers are pleasing in his sight. I pray that Jesus Christ, my mediator who sits at the right hand of God the Father, will present my case before the court of heaven for a favorable decision. I pray that God will answer my prayers and use the gospel seed I’ve cast before God to save many lost souls to heaven.

BIBLE VERSES:

2 Corinthians 5:20 – Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God was pleading through us: we implore you on Christ’s behalf, be reconciled to God.

Matthew 13:13 – (Jesus) – But he who received seed on the good ground is he who hears the word and understands it, who indeed bears fruit and produces: some a hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.

MY AFFIRMATION:

The purpose of my life is to witness for Christ to the nonbeliever in obedience to the commandments of God. As a disciple of Jesus Christ, I’m a representative of God on this earth. I’m an ambassador for Christ. I’m duty-bound to share the gospel message of Jesus Christ with all nations and all people. My goal is to produce much good fruit for God by saving as many lost souls to the kingdom of heaven as I can during my lifetime. Lord, I ask that you guide me in this task and give me more time. Lord, I pray that you strengthen me so that I have the wisdom, determination, and perseverance to finish the salvation plan you have for my life. Praise God for his love, mercy, and grace toward his servant.

BIBLE VERSES:

John 15:5 – (Jesus) – I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing.

Philippians 4:13 – I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

James 1:22 – But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.

MY AFFIRMATION:

As a branch of the Most High, I’m a child of God. I will do all things through the Lord Jesus Christ, who indwells me and strengthens me by his glorious power. I will produce much good fruit by witnessing for Christ to save nonbelievers unto eternal life in heaven. I abide in God through prayer and Bible study so that I’m an effective “doer” of God’s word; saving lost souls to heaven by being obedient to the commandments of God.

BIBLE VERSES:

2 Timothy 4:1-2 – I charge you therefore before God and the Lord Jesus Christ, who will judge the living and the dead at His appearing and His kingdom. Preach the word! Be ready in season and out of season. Convince, rebuke, exhort, with all longsuffering and teaching.

Hebrews 2:10 – For it was fitting for Him, for whom are all things and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons to glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through suffering.

2 Corinthians 5:10 – For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive the things done in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad.

MY AFFIRMATION:

Thank you Jesus for making me and putting me on this earth you have created. Lord, thank you for dying on the cross in my place so I wouldn’t have to suffer eternal death in hell. I’ve accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior by my confession of faith, and as a result, I have been given the precious gift of eternal life in heaven by a merciful and loving God. I will share this “good news” from heaven as I witness for Christ with passion and endurance all the days of my life. O Lord, my times are in your hands. Lord, give me more time and help me to effectively share the gospel message of Jesus Christ with nonbelievers so that many are saved unto eternal life in heaven by the gospel seed I have sown before the throne of grace.

New Beginnings (#4)

I have previously shared with you that praying Bible affirmations out loud are prayers of rejoicing to the God who made us. It’s hard to rejoice silently; and why would you? Let your joy for the Lord escape your lips. You need to understand that God created us and loves each one of us unconditionally. God may punish us when we deserve it because he is a just God, but he never stops loving us. God’s word confirms that we’re God’s masterpiece of creation and priceless in his eyes. That knowledge alone should bring you great joy. God sees us as his children; and what parent doesn’t love their children? All believers also know they’re immortal beings who are saved unto eternal life in heaven in the presence of Jesus Christ where they’ll receive honor, glory, and riches from the hand of God on the last day. God commands us in his word to be joyful and thankful for what the Lord has done for us. Bible affirmations are the perfect way for believers to express their love, joy, thanks, and gratitude to Almighty God.

In my updated Bible affirmations I am struck by the fact that they are much more joyful and uplifting than my previous iterations were. I find myself thanking God often; blessing God more frequently; and repeatedly asking my God to bless me so that I can fulfill the salvation plan God has for my life. Bible affirmations are meant to be prayed repeatedly so that they become self-fulfilling. As you repeatedly rejoice in the Lord through prayer you’ll find your joy for God will increase exponentially. As you continue to thank God for what he has done for you you’ll develop a sense of increasing gratitude to the God who made you. When you have joy in your heart for God it has to spring forth from your lips in prayer. You won’t be able to hold it in! When you are truly thankful to the Lord; and grateful for what he has done on your behalf, you can’t help but give God the praise of your lips. This is all accomplished through Bible affirmations. Worshipping the Lord your God is a wonderful thing!

DAY FOUR BIBLE VERSES:

2 Corinthians 5:18 – Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation.

MY AFFIRMATION:

Thank you God for creating the universe and making me who I am. Thank you Jesus for dying on the cross for my sins. I bless you Lord for calling me to salvation unto eternal life in heaven through faith in Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior. I’m grateful for all the “good works” you have given me to do on earth. I’m blessed to have the privilege of working alongside my King in his harvest field to help save lost souls to the kingdom of heaven by my witness for Christ. With perseverance, I will spread the gospel seed of Christ “passively” through my Christian blog site and my Christian tract ministry to save “one more for Jesus” every day in my walk with God. O Lord, use the gospel seed I cast before you to save many nonbelievers to heaven through your Holy Spirit.

BIBLE VERSES:

Psalm 1:1-3 – Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor stands in the path of sinners, nor sits in the seat of the scornful; but his delight is in the law of the Lord, and in His law he meditates day and night. He shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that brings forth its fruit in season, whose leaf also shall not wither; and whatever he does shall prosper.

MY AFFIRMATION:

Holy God, Lord of heaven and earth; you have blessed me with eternal life in heaven and given me an unquenchable thirst for your word. The Holy Spirit has given me the ministry of reconciliation, which is to study God’s word and give my testimony. Lord, I will meditate in your law day and night and I ask for your blessing as I abide in your word and you abide in me. I will fellowship with other believers and pray daily before the throne of grace for you to bless me. I will be wise and seek the advice of other believers on important matters so God will bless me with wisdom. Lord, I’m grateful for the many blessings in my life that I have received from your hand. Lord, I thank you and bless you for making me prosperous.

BIBLE VERSES:

Psalm 37:4 – Delight yourself also in the Lord, and He shall give you the desires of your heart.

MY AFFIRMATION:

I delight myself in the Lord through prayer and he gives me the desires of my heart. I will work diligently in God’s harvest field to help save many lost souls for the kingdom of God through my witness for Christ. I desire to serve the Lord for forty years like God’s prophets of old; or until Jesus Christ comes to rapture me and all saints in the air to receive our glorified bodies before returning to heaven with the Lord. I desire to please God by my “good works.” I desire to stand before the bema judgment seat of Jesus Christ on the last day and hear him say, “Well done good and faithful servant.” I desire to save nonbelievers for the kingdom of heaven with your help O Lord.

BIBLE VERSES:

Romans 12:1 – I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service.

Hebrews 12:1 – Let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us.

MY AFFIRMATION:

Lord, you gave me an eternal spirit at conception. You have given me my body, this tent, as a temple for the Holy Spirit. By your presence inside me, you have made me holy and acceptable to God. Therefore, I present my body back to you as my reasonable service to the God who made me. I will do good works before the Lord in his harvest field by witnessing for Christ to save lost souls to heaven. I will run my race before God with endurance, trying to save, “one more for Jesus”, every day of my life. Lord, bless me with forty years in your service; if you are willing, and there is time before the rapture comes. O Lord, help me to save many as I fulfill the salvation plan you have for my life.

BIBLE VERSES:

Acts 10:42 – And He commanded us to preach to the people, and to testify that it is He who was ordained by God to be Judge of the living and the dead.

2 Timothy 2:5-6 – For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Jesus Christ, who gave Himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time.

2 Timothy 2:15 – Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

MY AFFIRMATION:

In obedience to God, I will share the gospel message of Jesus Christ with all nations and all people. I will study God’s word for knowledge, understanding, and wisdom so I can do a better job of saving nonbelievers to heaven. The Lord called me and saved me unto eternal life in heaven so that I can save others by my testimony. When I go to heaven I want my good works done here on earth to be pleasing to God. On the last day, when I stand before the bema judgment seat of Jesus Christ I long to hear the Lord say, “Well done good and faithful servant.” I desire to save many nonbelievers to heaven by my witness for Christ.

New Beginnings (#3)

As I continue praying my daily Bible affirmations before God I’ve noticed that something is happening to me. My joy and love of God is growing exponentially; if that’s possible. I can’t keep a smile off my face because I know I’m an immortal being made by God who will never die and I’ll always be in heaven in the presence of Jesus. What could be better than that? Let me tell you something. If you’re a believer, God has rewarded you with eternal life in heaven and if you then redeem your time here on earth by witnessing for Christ to save nonbelievers to heaven God will further reward you with honor, glory, and riches on the last day. Remember in school when we took tests and some teachers would give us bonus questions for extra credit? It’s like that with God. Life is an open-book test and all the answers we seek are in the Bible. The question I have is, “Why aren’t you using it?”

You’re saved to heaven by faith but if you save someone else to heaven you get bonus credit from God, and what you receive from the hand of God will last forever. I have found the one true God. I know a secret that the rest of the world needs to know; even if they don’t realize it. My life revolves around getting the word out to others. I’m dedicated to trying to save, “one more for Jesus” every day. As a warrior for Christ, I know I’ve saved nonbelievers to heaven. I’m committed to saving souls to the kingdom of heaven by sharing the gospel message of Jesus Christ. You know the saying, “You can lead a horse to water but you can’t make him drink.” I’m leading the best I can but it’s up to you to drink the “holy water” that God provides freely to all who ask him for it.

DAY THREE BIBLE VERSES:

John 14:6 – (Jesus) – I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.

Matthew 10:28 – (Jesus) – And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. But rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.

John 14:9 – (Jesus) – He who has seen Me has seen the Father.

MY AFFIRMATION:

Jesus Christ is my Lord and Savior. Jesus is my Lord because he is the one true God of creation. On the last day, all creatures will kneel to Jesus, their King. Jesus is my Savior because he died on the cross for my sins, so I wouldn’t have to suffer eternal death. Jesus saved me from going to hell for all eternity when I die; and when I leave this world Jesus has saved me to heaven forevermore. Jesus is the truth and wisdom of God. The only path to heaven is through faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. God made Jesus judge over the earth so only Jesus can condemn a soul to hell and save a nonbeliever to heaven. Jesus is God in the flesh and we’ll be in his presence forever.

BIBLE VERSES:

Mark 16:15-16 – (Jesus) – Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned.

2 Corinthians 9:6 – But this I say: He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully.

MY AFFIRMATION:

Before ascending back to heaven, Jesus commanded his disciples to share the gospel message of Jesus Christ, the “good news” of our salvation, with all nations and all people. As a believer, I’m a disciple of Christ so I’m also commanded to fulfill the Great Commission. I will give my testimony of Jesus one-on-one when the opportunity arises. I will continually witness for Christ “passively” through my Christian blog site and also through my Christian tract ministry. I will sow the gospel seed of Christ bountifully all the days of my life so that I’ll also reap bountifully on the last day.

BIBLE VERSES:

Proverbs 14:25 – A true witness delivers souls, but a deceitful witness speaks lies.

Proverbs 11:30 – The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life, and he who wins souls is wise.

James 5:20 – He who turns a sinner from the error of his way will save a soul from death.

MY AFFIRMATION:

I will bless the Lord daily for allowing me to help save nonbelievers from eternal death. With the help of Almighty God, I will deliver lost souls to the kingdom of heaven through my true witness for Jesus Christ. I will be wise in the eyes of the Lord by winning souls for God. As the righteousness of Christ, I will provide much fruit for heaven all the days of my life. May the Lord grant me forty years in his service, or until Jesus comes in the air to rapture his saints. My mantra every day is to save, “one more for Jesus.”

BIBLE VERSES:

John 16:13 – (Jesus) – However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth: for he will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come.

James 1:5 – If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.

MY AFFIRMATION:

I have been indwelt by the Holy Spirit of God since I was twelve years old. I was saved unto eternal life in heaven by accepting Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior by my confession of faith before the congregation of the First Baptist Church in my hometown. I pray that the spirit of truth will guide me into all truth as I read God’s word daily and study my Bible for knowledge, understanding, and wisdom. I will pray to God for his wisdom so that the Holy Spirit will tell me things to come. O Lord, make me healthy, wealthy, and wise as I witness for Christ!

BIBLE VERSES:

1 Timothy 2:8 – I desire therefore that men pray everywhere, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting.

Ephesians 6:18 – Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints.

MY AFFIRMATION:

O Lord, in obedience to your word I will pray often before the throne of grace. Early and often will I seek your face O Lord; seeking your wisdom and guidance. By the praise of my lips, I will worship the Lord my God every day, offering up love, honor, and glory to my King. Praise the Lord for his kindness toward his servant.
